The end of another year of GRACE ...

AH, as we approach another New Year - 2014 ...

Over the past few weeks, I have had great witness from the Holy Spirit of four specific points for the coming year, which I will share with you here. He may be speaking things to you, things that will apply to your life, where you are. Most generally, God speaks to me regarding His Church, the Nations and His view of the world in our present day, as it relates to scripture. With all this in mind, this is what I've been experiencing in Him:

1) Two weeks ago, I began to pray heavily about commitment in the Body of Christ, the kind of commitment that will allow the Church to embody this scripture in a real way:

John 14:12 -  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Following prayers in this direction ...

2) I found myself in many meditation times for myself and my children; our place in this "whole" of the plan of God for the earth in "this day"! These prayers are ones that had me up in the night, seeking Him for wisdom, guidance and direction in 2014.

3) As goes without saying, my focus and attention, always automatically goes to the Nations and leaders of those nations. Thy Kingdom come and Thy will be done in days to come. May the Church begin to truly RISE UP with prayers of intercession appropriate for the times that we live in.

4) God began to FILL ME with a HOPE for the globe; a new hope that He has not witnessed with me since 2004. I'm still in intercession over this particular witness. As a part of this, I have been reminded of the impossibilities that have found their way into possibility, by way of our FAITH and God's GREAT GRACE at work in all of our lives and over nations as well.

It is our prayer at Izzy Herriette & Co that God perform His good and perfect will through every one of His own in this coming 2014. It is when all parts are functioning according to His leading that He is able to accomplish so much upon the earth. 

The LORD strengthen, enlighten, illuminate you and show you the way! It is the hour to TAKE UP our full equipping and to fulfill the destiny of the Church in 2014! God's richest blessing upon you and yours. Amen

Intimate, Behind the Scenes / Trunk Treasures ...

I realize that our postings from Izzy Herriette & Co / Trunk Treasures / Rugged Country and all of our other meanderings of output are widespread ... but we like to be creative ... and we like to get "out there" as much as we can. This happens to be one of my favorite blogs, even though we know we could use a revamping of "all of our sites" to something actually "professional". We are trusting and believing that that day will come soon enough. Until then, we continue to "output'!

I wanted to share here, our latest project which many of you I know have already seen through our Facebook pages, etc. I still decided to take a "moment" to share it here with you in a little bit of a more intimate format. :)

This corner was something I "saw" one day, after writing one of the most beautiful songs the LORD has given to me; just a couple of months ago. Actually every song is very special to me, when I know it's coming directly from HIM!

So, I had this vision ...

I had to determine that it was "from the LORD" and then of course, the battle begins in the mind and then the choice to press onward or leave it all to vision unfulfilled. I chose to press onward.

This meant I would have to create new covers for the love seat; design and sewing together, creating patterns. Secondly, the "partition" I had seen behind the sofa, would mean my daughter and I on one of the hottest summer days, going deep into the downtown of Tulsa to a salvage yard to seek out the shutters. She was such a wonderful HELP and always IS, when she wants to be. Truly, she blesses me so much and in so many ways.

I spotted, out of stacks and stacks of doors, the "ones" that I thought would take on the life of what I had seen in my minds eye. We brought them home ... Holly carried them to the garage for me (heavy, heavy) ... I washed, and washed, and washed them off ... My husband bought the hinges ... And we put them together as you see them in the photos. (Hindsight: Why don't we take pictures and videos of all these things as we're doing them? Fun idea. After the fact. Something to keep in mind for the future.)

Next, my husband and I over the course of the next few weeks, would spend about three shopping days (which was actually such a blessing that he would spend that time with me, doing such a thing) searching the whole of Tulsa for a "table" that would fit what I had seen in the "corner"; just rightly. After much consideration and many tables to choose from, I chose to go back to my favorite place - River City Trading Post - where we found the least expensive, most attractive, most suitable and most fitting table! God is SO GOOD, as I looked around the table that morning when we returned to purchase, and there were all the things I needed to fill the tabletop with; just as I'd seen it and at unbelievable prices!

Home we went and the table and accessories met with a "thumbs up" from my daughter. That's amazing! Cleaning the table, setting the top, placing new sofa covers, preparing glass coffee table and we're set; finally!

This is the end result and we look forward to spending much "cozy time" with many, here, as we share from our hearts what things the LORD is speaking to us.

One night, I got truly courageous ...

(I know how ridiculous it sounds, when spoken out in words, but I was so tormented over this)

I had begun to "timidly" fill the wall as I'd seen and ... wow! ... what a "wrestling" that night over it; all night long!

To share with you how the LORD works with me ...

The next morning, as I was working on the internet, an interesting photo came through my feed from Pottery Barn. 

I've looked through their albums and love their style. Very familiar with Pottery Barn; of course!

The LORD said, "Look further!" I really didn't WANT to. I was in a hurry and had other things to attend to, but chose to obey. Within the next three or four photos, I saw walls with pictures and mirrors, placed just as I'd placed mine. I'D SEEN THOSE PHOTOS BEFORE and it totally "escaped" me when I was being "tormented" the night before: What are you doing? Are you crazy? Nobody does their walls like that anymore? You're SO DATED! YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A COMPLETE FOOL OF YOURSELF, SETTING UP THIS CORNER IN "THIS WAY"! WOW!!

I immediately KNEW that this was the LORD's way of "chasing the enemy OFF"! 

NOW, I'm really cherish this little spot / Trunk Treasures!

Much of what we used here, were things I have had for some time, so it wasn't necessary to SPEND a ton of money on the project; which is ALWAYS nice.

Manifesto-Before the Cock Crows

Asking all of you to continue to pray with us about the publishing of Manifesto-Before the Cock Crows. Our desire was that this would have been available to you several years ago. 

We want to declare and set our faith together for that to take place "this year - 2013"; that not another year slip by without this Prophetic Warning being released for the benefit of the entire Body of Christ.

Thank you so much for all of your encouragement! We're so blessed to have so many faithful, believing readers, many of which God has brought our way through internet connection and ministry. 

God is willing that NO MAN should perish!

2 Pet 3:9 -  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should  perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hos 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Ps 35:27 - Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. My "baby" (10 year old), said these words to me with such emphasis in a phone conversation just recently, "Grandma, I got a new BIBLE for Christmas and that is SO VERY SPECIAL, because, did you know that there are fifty-two countries in our world today that ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE BIBLES?!!

(Oh, I thank the LORD for answered prayers, that my grandchildren KNOW HIm and that they be instrumental in this last-day-harvest in the Kingdom of God on earth!!_

The Beginning of a New Year ...

- 2013 -

A little late wishing you a Happy New Year - 2013 but perhaps better late than never.  I so am pinching myself to realize that we're headed to the halfway mark of February already!!  How about you?  How is your year starting off? (Share in the comment section, if you'd like. We would like very much!)

So, to start things off here, I thought it may be a 'good thing' (not stealing from Martha Stewart either) to share our vision for this year:

• We DID get our beginner Website set up in 2012, or I should say, I did.  Not knowing anything about how to do any of this technical stuff, I came up with what I came up with.  We are now, already, as the old Website states, looking at an upgrade that will be far easier for navigation and for more of the product/information that we propose to share there with you.  For now, this is the site, for those of you who may not have become familiar with it in 2012:  http://www.izzyherriette.com/  

• We are moving, this year, forward with Trunk Treasures/Eternal Jewels Sparkling/Teaching Moments with Izzy Herriette & Co, which means videos.  For those of you not familiar with this Channel yet, you can go to the link above, on the Home Page, and click the You Tube icon in the right column, which will take you directly to the Teaching Channel.  We are praying, still, for much better recording equipment,  a permanent "set design, room ", along with more wisdom for our speaking style. We are believing Him for both!  He is faithful!  

• In recording video, I learned that I would feel far more comfortable with having ALL of my teeth, versus, missing a few too many. Embarrassing! Humiliating! Yet, we preach because we MUST! This year started out with my trips to the Dentist, where I will be taking care of that situation. Praise God! Progress. Right now, in the middle of the pain, I'm keeping my eye on the vision, the end result and the benefit it will be for ministry on  my part. 

• We still have music we desire to produce, that Manifesto-Before the Cock Crows book that we're praying to see finished and finally published, much writing to do, much studying and we're believing God for open doors to take our message out: Around the Globe with the News of the Risen Son (mandate given in 1996).  

• We DID get our logos for both Izzy Herriette & Co and Rugged Country Collection accomplished this past year as well.  We thank Deborah Jahn for that, as her contributions to Izzy Herriette & Co, went toward that project. God bless you, Deborah!! That was such a special, special task done for us!!

• This year we are pushing toward a site where we will be able to offer, seriously, the Rugged Country Collection in an e-store on our Website.  (You can read all of our vision for Izzy Herriette & Co on the Project Page of our present Website, listed above

• We are also praying, now, about trips to Africa in 2013, where we've been invited as keynote speaker for their annual Leadership Training Conference, where over 200 leaders come to seek further training and a revival of over 600 takes place along with the conferences/teaching sessions.  We need your support both in prayers and finances to enable us to walk, faithfully, through this OPEN DOOR!

• On Feb 5, 2012, we did incorporate the entity of Izzy Herriette & Co and that legally places us as a non-profit with application for 501(c)3 upcoming.  Necessary thing DONE!

There is much more to our vision but these are the things we feel impressed to share with you at this point.  Love sharing with you, as you are the ones who take what we bring and share it with others.  You bless us!!

I would also like to share some photos of a very rare occasion with my husband. He actually joined me for a taping session. Unfortunately we won't be able to air it, as the tape was interrupted by a technical difficulty. Maybe more in the future.
